- Students must have reached the age of 17 by 31st july of the same year by the time of admission.
- Students must have passed their higher secondary from an English medium school.
- Students must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) subjects in their 10+2 examination.
- Students must have scored above 50% marks in their PCB subjects in their 10+2 examination.
- Students who scored above 50% marks in all the subjects in their 10+2 examination including P.C.B are eligible for direct admission only to face an interview.
- Students securing above 50% marks in their Physics,Chemistry and Biology but marks below 50% in other subjects must appear through common entrance exams.
- Students must pass their NEET Entrance Examination with or more than 117 marks. Applicants failing to attain 117 in their NEET examination must qualify through other common entrance examinations.
NEET Entrance Examination Qualification Details for admission in Kathmandu Medical College:
- Students who fail to score 117 or above in their NEET entrance examination must qualify compulsory examination for admission.
- Students who pass their NEET entrance examination with more than 117 marks are eligible for direct admission. No Exam/Form compulsory.
